Spring Fling

Spring is here and everyone in the Villa house is enjoying the outdoors. We hung out in the backyard through spring break. The kids played outside and Jayda was chillin' in the hammock. We rolled around in the grass and played in the spa.

We had a fun surprise from the Easter Bunny this year. He hid eggs filled with $$$ for the big kids and Jayda had a few toys in her basket. She got a jiggly dog that she just adores. Grandma Sandy and Gram came over and colored eggs. We all enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane using all our artistry skills coloring eggs.

Jayda started on solids recently. She loves all the vegetables so far. She hasn't tried green beans yet but I'm sure she will love them. She is sitting up almost by herself. She still tips over a bit like a weeble wobble. She's getting up on her hands and turning herself in circles on the floor. She's just growing to fast.

Lora is playing soccer for school. They've won all their games. She had a game today and she made a goal for the first time. She was very excited and proud of herself.

Jr. is working hard at mastering adding and subtracting fractions. We all know how much fun that is. It's tough but he is working hard to get extra help and doing all his homework. Good job bub!!!

Elijio is going to Laughlin to do the River Run on his motorcycle next week. He is really excited and is looking forward to hanging out with our friends Chuck and Jo Ann. We miss you guys!!!

I'm just enjoying my family and all the excitement and drama that goes along with it. School is almost out...only 5 weeks left. I can't wait to spend the summer being a mom.

  2. Hey Christine!

I blog-hopped from Trisha's site. I had to tell you how cute Miss Jayda is! Lora and Elijio are getting so big!

Glad to hear you are doing well with the new addition! I will put you on my follow list.

I'm new to blogging as well and it is taking me some time getting used to it!

    Check in with you soon!
